Integral ceramic work tube with external element winding creates furnace chamber.
Integral ceramic work tube is convenient and suitable for processing in air.

Furnaces are normally mounted horizontally on a support base or cabinet.

Carbolite HZS and TVS three zone tube furnaces are zoned 6-12-6 and 6-24-6.
Long-life free radiating heating element design provides excellent radial and linear chamber uniformity.
High efficiency low mass vacuum formed ceramic fiber insulation enhances heat-up and recovery rates.

Vacuum Tube Furnaces

1200ºC furnaces are available with 21.5” and 27.5” heated lengths, and 2.0”, 2.5”, and 3.0” ID tubes.
1500ºC furnaces are available with 18.00” heated length, and 2.0” or 3.0” ID tube.
Carbolite HVT vacuum tube furnaces provide vacuum levels better than 1 x 10-5 mbar.
These turn-key systems include two stage sliding vane rotary pump, water cooled oil diffusion pump, high vacuum baffle valve, roughing/backing valves, and Pirani and Penning gauges.
Vacuum work tube is conveniently accessed through one end with easily removable high vacuum end seal.
Opposite end of work tube is joined to the vacuum system via a stainless steel elbow coupling.
Radiation shields are provided at each end of the furnace hot zone to improve chamber uniformity and reduce temperature on vacuum end seals.
Superior temperature uniformity is provided by long-life element winding on 1200ºC furnace work tubes.
Low thermal mass insulation improves the furnace thermal performance.
1500ºC tube furnaces incorporate long-life free radiating silicon carbide heating elements that provide excellent radial and linear chamber uniformity.
Safety outer mesh guard provides low external furnace surface temperature.
Furnace is mounted at convenient work height on floor standing base cabinet.
The vacuum system and all vacuum, temperature, and power controls are housed in the base cabinet.
Choice of Model 301 control or programmers.
Special options are available for HVT systems (Contact Carbolite).
